安全保障貿易管理について
東京海洋大学では、「外国為替及び外国貿易法」に基づいて「国立大学法人東京海洋大学 安全保障輸出管理規則」を定めて、技術の提供及び貨物の輸出の観点から外国人留学生の受入れについては厳格な審査を実施しています。指導を受けたい教育研究内容等が規制されている事項に該当する場合は、希望する研究活動に制限がかかる場合や、教育が受けられない場合がありますので、願書の提出の前に必ず指導予定教員に相談し、出願にあたっては注意してください。
なお、安全保障貿易管理の詳しい内容は経済産業省ホームページの「安全保障貿易管理」を参照してください。

Security export control
Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) has established the "TUMSAT's Security Export Control Regulations (SECR)" in accordance with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act of Japan. The SECR has a strict screening process for accepting international students, especially regarding the transfer of technology and export of goods.
Suppose your intended research or educational activities involve regulated technologies or items under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act of Japan. In that case, there may be restrictions on your studies or research. In some cases, you may not be able to participate in specific programs.
Before submitting your application, please consult with your proposed supervisor to confirm whether you can conduct your desired research under the SECR.
