You will be responsible for education and research in fields related to the latest maritime technology, such as navigation management to ensure the safety and efficiency of maritime transport while taking into consideration the conservation of the marine environment, as well as specialized subjects necessary for training ship's officers and ship managers.

(graduate School)
 In the Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology, the Master's Program in Maritime Logistics and the Doctoral Program in Applied Environmental Systems Studies, subjects related to safe ship operation, maritime regulations, international standards, international treaties, etc., as well as special research guidance are taught.

(Undergraduate)
 Navigation management, transport management, maritime regulations, navigation systems theorySpecialized subjects related to training ship personnel, short boat training, ship experiments (Shioji Maru), Maritime Systems Engineering Experiments I to V, and graduation research guidance.
