　At the beginning of the meeting, President Iseki stated that since the start of the program, the total number of students who have participated in the University’s China-Japan-Korea Highly Specialized Professional Training Program (commonly known as the China-Japan-Korea Program) has reached 10,000.25He expressed his gratitude for sending out such excellent students to the university.2023Years12President Iseki expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received when he visited Shanghai Maritime University in March. President Chu expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with him today and introduced the training ship currently under construction at Shanghai Maritime University. 　Shanghai Maritime University is a national comprehensive university located in Shanghai, China, which is characterized by its marine navigation technology, while also developing the fields of engineering, law, business administration, etc. Since signing an international exchange agreement and a memorandum of understanding on student exchange with the university during the time of its predecessor, Tokyo University of Mercantile Marine, we have built a close collaborative relationship through the implementation of Japan-China-Korea programs, etc.
