The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) website has published the application guidelines for the FY8 Special Research Fellowships - PD, DC, and RPD. If you wish to apply for a faculty member of our university as a host researcher, please read the application guidelines carefully and begin preparing your application.

An on-campus information session regarding the special research fellowship will be held in March (details will be announced separately on the university website, but the session will be held in Japanese only).
In addition, because applications for special research fellowships must be submitted through the host institution, the internal deadline for the university is set three weeks to one month earlier than the application deadline announced by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Therefore, those who plan to apply are asked to make preparations well in advance. (The internal deadline will be announced on our university website and at internal information sessions around March.)
