Announcement of the 2nd Mini-Symposium on Active Learning Teaching Methods in Online Classes, part of the METIS Program for Strengthening University Global Exchange
Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology's "Japan-Nordic Collaborative Program of Marine Education toward the Innovation and Sustainability (METIS)" has been selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for the 2024 "Strengthening University Global Expansion Capabilities Project - Supporting the Formation of Inter-University Exchanges with EU Countries" program.
METIS works in collaboration with our six Nordic partner universities (University of Southern Denmark, Technical University of Denmark, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, The Arctic University of Norway, University of Stavanger, and Nord University) to offer a credit-transfer study abroad program for graduate students that effectively utilizes online learning and ensures quality, as well as research project-type and work experience-type internships.
We will be holding a mini symposium on active learning teaching methods in online classes, with the aim of experts from Japan and Northern Europe sharing the effects, methods, and examples of active learning in online learning.
If you are interested, please come and join us.
